FRAGRANCE TYPES
EDT (Eau de Toilette):
Concentration: EDT has a lower concentration of fragrance oils, typically ranging from 5-15%.
Scent Strength: It is lighter and less intense compared to EDP and Parfum.
Duration: EDT fragrances generally last for a shorter duration on the skin, usually around 2-4 hours.
EDP (Eau de Parfum):
Concentration: EDP contains a higher concentration of fragrance oils, typically ranging from 15-20%.
Scent Strength: It is more potent and longer-lasting than EDT.
Duration: EDP fragrances generally last longer on the skin, often between 4-6 hours or more.
Parfum:
Concentration: Parfum has the highest concentration of fragrance oils, usually around 20-30% or even higher.
Scent Strength: Parfum is the most intense and long-lasting form of fragrance.
Duration: Perfumes can last the longest on the skin, often 6 hours or more, and sometimes throughout the day.
It's important to note that the actual concentration percentages can vary between different perfume houses and brands. Additionally, individual body chemistry, application techniques, and environmental factors can influence how long a fragrance lasts on the skin.
When choosing a fragrance concentration, consider factors such as personal preference, the occasion, and how long you want the scent to last. EDT is often chosen for everyday use, while EDP and Parfum are preferred for special occasions or when a more intense and long-lasting fragrance is desired.
